Clauset is a curated online marketplace featuring independent, designer, and premium brands.

Products on Clauset may be sold by independent sellers (“Sellers”). Unless stated otherwise, the Seller is responsible for the product, its description, authenticity, availability, and fulfillment.

Clauset may facilitate payment, customer service, communication, shipping, and other parts of the transaction.

• You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and your login details secure.
• You may not use another person’s account or provide false information.
• We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

We work with Sellers to keep product information accurate, but we cannot guarantee that every description, photograph, price, or availability status will always be error-free.

Products may vary slightly from photographs due to lighting, screens, materials, or manufacturing.

Prices are shown on the Platform and may change before an order is placed.

Any applicable shipping fees, taxes, or other charges will be shown where applicable.

Payment may be processed by third-party payment providers. By placing an order, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

An order is accepted when Clauset or the applicable Seller confirms it.

We may cancel an order if:

• The product is unavailable.
• There is an obvious pricing or product-information error.
• Payment cannot be completed or verified.
• Fraud or unauthorized activity is suspected.
• Cancellation is required by law.

If you have already paid for a cancelled order, you will receive the applicable refund.

Each Seller may have different processing and shipping times.

Estimated shipping times shown on product pages or at checkout are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.

Delays caused by couriers, customs, weather, incorrect delivery information, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control may occur.

You are responsible for providing a correct delivery address.

Returns, exchanges, and refunds are subject to the applicable product and Seller policy and any rights provided by law — the full policy lives on Returns & Refunds.

Where a return is permitted, products generally must be unused, unworn, and returned in their original condition with applicable tags, packaging, and accessories.

Some products may not be returnable because of their nature, including personalized, made-to-order, or hygiene-sensitive products.

If you receive an incorrect, damaged, or defective product, contact us as soon as possible.

Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Sellers are responsible for ensuring that their products:

• Are authentic and legally sold.
• Are accurately described.
• Match their listings.
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Are properly packaged and fulfilled.
• Have accurate pricing and availability.

For beauty and cosmetic products, Sellers are responsible for providing required ingredient, labeling, safety, and regulatory information.

Clauset may remove products or suspend Sellers that do not meet these requirements.

Clauset’s name, logo, website, design, software, graphics, text, and other original content belong to Clauset or its licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or commercially use Clauset’s content without permission.

Sellers retain ownership of their trademarks, photographs, and other intellectual property. By providing content to Clauset, Sellers give Clauset permission to use that content to operate, market, and promote Clauset and the listed products.

You may not use Clauset to:

• Break the law.
• Commit fraud.
• Provide false information.
• Sell counterfeit or prohibited products.
• Access another person’s account.
• Interfere with the Platform.
• Upload malicious software.
• Copy or scrape Clauset’s content without permission.

Clauset may use third-party services for payments, shipping, hosting, analytics, communications, and other Platform functions.

Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

We aim to keep Clauset available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may temporarily change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Platform for maintenance, security, updates, or other reasons.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clauset is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Platform or products purchased through it.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make material changes, we may notify you through the Platform or another appropriate method.

The updated Terms will apply from their stated effective date.
